Pulling out long nails with a hammer can be difficult. It will turn out to be easy, when the hammer rests on a wedge-shaped wooden pad, as the nail is pulled out, it is pushed deeper and deeper. Such a wedge made of hardwood should have a row slope 10-15 degrees; and length approx 10 cm. This is enough to pull out even longer nails.
