Manufacturers of virtually all types of traditional hanging window and door sashes stubbornly repeat the basic mistake – length of pins in both hinges, on which the sash hangs is the same. This results in difficulties in putting them back on the door frames. How much pain it takes, everyone knows, who took those wings off at least once. However, it is enough to saw off a piece of the pin with a length in the lower hinge 2-3 mm, to completely eliminate this problem. Cutting it off will not spoil the construction.
