The individual rails forming various types of frames can be fixed with mechanical fasteners, squeezing them very tightly. This type of connection is, of course, easy to disassemble if necessary. Special fasteners are used for squeezing the stiles touching with the chamfers. The semi-circular nuts of such a connector go into the blind holes drilled in the bottom of the frames. The connection is made with a screw screwed into the nuts. Such a combination of stiles can be glued with wood glue at the same time.
